Gotcha4Life

Who doesn’t love Gus Worland and the work of the awesome guys at Gotcha4Life.

We at WNOW love Gotcha4Life’s mental fitness gym. Spend some time hear to focus on your Vulnerability Stretch Class or your Self Kindness Spin Class.

The gym is a first of its kind, online gym providing tools and inspiration to strengthen your emotional muscles; the ones that help cope better with the ups and downs of life.

Lifeline

Lifeline are a national charity providing all Australians experiencing emotional distress with access to 24 hour crisis support and suicide prevention services. They exist so that no person in Australia has to face their darkest moments alone.

Although we all go through difficult times in life, men and women can experience and react to these situations differently. Research shows that men are less likely to seek support for mental health issues and are less likely to disclose a mental health problem to friends or family.

Have a read at Lifeline’s Mens Toolkit if and when you need it.

Movember

Movember is helping men to live happier, healthier, longer lives by funding men’s health projects around the world. Mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer are important issues faced by all men, partners, parents, brothers and friends.

The Movember movement is shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men.

Australian Men’s Health Forum

Know Your Man Facts is an on-going campaign to give people the information they need to take action to improve men's health.

Each KYMF toolkit includes an easy-to-use presentation you can share in groups, in the workplace or at community events and include infographics and social media tiles with information on how to spot a health issue, how to take action to improve your own health and how to help a mate.
